Privacy policy
Pinprick (“Pinprick”, “we”, “us”) is an advertising production studio. This policy explains what information we collect on pinprick.io, what we collect through the advertising platform tools we operate on behalf of clients, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to nick@pinprick.io.
1. Information we collect on this website
Information you give us. When you submit a form, book a call, or email us, we receive what you send: typically your name, work email, company, website, and a description of what you need.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used. This includes analytics, the Meta Pixel, and business visitor-identification services that may match a visit to a company based on network information. These tools collect device and browser details, pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location, and IP address.
2. Information we handle for clients
Pinprick produces ads and, for some clients, manages advertising accounts on platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To do that, our software connects to the client’s advertising account through the platform’s official API with the client’s authorization.
Through those connections we access campaign, ad set, and ad configuration, creative assets we upload, and aggregate performance reporting (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions). We do not receive the personal information of people who see or click the ads; platforms report that data to us only in aggregate. Client account data is used solely to build, publish, report on, and optimize that client’s advertising, and is not shared with other clients or third parties.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and deliver the services you ask for.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To build, run, and report on advertising for clients who engage us.
- To send occasional emails about our work; every such email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business (hosting, email, analytics, scheduling, advertising platforms), with a client when the information relates to that client’s own engagement, when required by law, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business. Service providers are bound to use the information only to provide their service to us.
5. Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as intended without them. You can opt out of Meta ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings. To have visitor identification data about your company removed, email us.
6. Retention
We keep inquiry and client information for as long as needed to provide the services and meet legal, accounting, and reporting requirements, then delete or anonymize it. Advertising platform access tokens are revoked when an engagement ends.
7. Your rights and data deletion
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, or to request deletion of any data we hold about you or your business, including data obtained through an advertising platform connection, email nick@pinprick.io with the subject line “Data request”. We respond within 30 days.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect the information we hold. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This site and our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
