Arcads vs Creatify (2026): which AI UGC tool, and when neither.

The short answer: Arcads is the pick when you want the most convincing AI actor read per credit and you can pay the reported $110 to $220 a month without a free tier. Creatify is the pick when budget comes first, you want a free on-ramp, and you are happy to generate a lot and curate hard for $39 to $99 a month. Both leave scripting, judging takes, editing and compliance to you. If those hours are the problem, neither tool is the answer and an agency is; more on that at the end.

Bias disclosure: we run Pinprick, an AI UGC agency, and compete with both tools for the same budgets. We have not subscribed to either. Everything below comes from their public pages (Creatify’s pricing page; Arcads’ homepage, since its pricing page returns a 404) and from cited third-party reports, all checked August 2026. Verify anything that matters before you buy.

Pricing

Creatify publishes everything. As of August 2026 the pricing page lists a free plan with 10 credits a month (enough for up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads, watermarked), Starter at $39 a month for 100 credits, Pro at $99 a month for 300 credits, an Enterprise tier with custom pricing and a done-for-you “Creatify Studio” service, and a discount of up to 50 percent on annual billing. How many credits a paid-tier video costs is not spelled out on the page.

Arcads publishes nothing. Its pricing URL returns a 404 and the homepage shows features and a limited-time 7-day unlimited offer, not plans. Third-party writeups from June 2026 report Starter at $110 a month for 10 videos, Creator at $220 for 20, and a custom Pro, at roughly $11 a generated video with no free trial. We wrote up those reports and what they leave out in Arcads pricing, explained. On list price, Creatify is the cheaper tool by a wide margin and the only one you can try for free.

Avatar library

Arcads leads with its actors: 1,000+ on the homepage, emotion control, and a create-your-own-actor option. Its reputation in the category rests on how believable the reads are. Creatify lists 300 AI actors on Starter and 1,500 plus three custom avatars on Pro, so the Pro library is larger on paper. Numbers are not performances, though. The honest test is your own 30-second script on both, watched on a phone, and Creatify’s free plan makes that test cheap on one side at least. One thing both share: the libraries are available to every subscriber, so the face you pick can show up in a competitor’s feed.

Product handling

Arcads lists an avatar-holding-your-product feature, which is the closer answer to the question most ecommerce buyers actually ask. Creatify’s signature move is URL-to-video: paste your product page and it drafts the ad, pulling product details and imagery, which is fast but puts the accuracy check on you. In both cases someone has to confirm the product reads at true scale and nothing is misstated before the ad ships.

Editing and tooling

Arcads’ homepage lists an AI editing layer: b-roll, music, captions, transitions, background removal, actor swap, camera angle, plus utilities like transcribe, translate and change voices. Creatify sells breadth: all creation tools on every paid tier, a creative agent, batch generation, a competitor ad tracker and up to five seats on Pro. If you want one place to generate many variants quickly, Creatify’s tooling is built for that. If you want to polish fewer, better takes, Arcads’ feature list reads that way.

Output consistency

This is the trade that decides most purchases. The pattern in public commentary is that Arcads produces a more reliable actor read per generation and Creatify produces more variety per dollar with more misses to sort through. Either way, one generation is rarely one finished ad; plan for regenerations on Arcads (each reportedly a credit) and for a curation pass on Creatify. The subscription is the visible cost; the sorting is the hidden one.

Verdict by use case

  • Testing whether AI creative fits your brand at all: Creatify. The free plan costs nothing and answers the question.
  • A small team shipping many cheap variants a week: Creatify Starter or Pro, with a named person owning curation.
  • A brand whose ads live or die on a believable presenter: Arcads, budget permitting, and script quality permitting.
  • Product-in-hand shots: Arcads lists the feature; verify it on your product before paying a year.
  • Localization into many languages: Creatify lists 75+ languages to Arcads’ 30+; for presenter-style multilingual video, HeyGen is the usual third name.
  • Nobody on the team has hours for scripts, takes, edits and compliance: neither. See below.

When an agency beats both

Both tools sell generation. Neither sells the job around it: writing hooks every week, judging takes, editing per platform, Meta and TikTok AI-disclosure settings, claims review, and deciding what to make next from what the ad account rewarded. For a team that is already stretched running the account, the tool becomes a second job, and the cheaper the subscription the more that job is hidden.

That is the gap an AI UGC agency fills, and how Pinprick is built: one brief in, finished test-ready ads out inside a week. Scripts within 48 hours, an AI production line, human creative directors reviewing every frame, casting matched to your customer rather than a shared library, your product rendered into the scenes, claims review for regulated verticals, disclosure metadata handled, twelve format families instead of avatar clips alone, unlimited paid usage rights. Pricing is $0 per ad, a percentage of ad spend for eligible brands, no retainer and no minimum term. The trade is hands-on control of every take, and it only makes sense if you are actually spending on ads.

Questions

Arcads vs Creatify: which is cheaper?+

Creatify, on list price. Its pricing page shows a free plan, Starter at $39 a month and Pro at $99 a month as of August 2026. Arcads does not publish prices; third-party reports from June 2026 put it at $110 to $220 a month. The gap narrows once you count regenerations and curation time, which is where Creatify's lower price is usually paid back.

Which has better avatars?+

Arcads has the stronger reputation for convincing actor performances and lists 1,000+ actors plus a create-your-own option. Creatify lists 300 actors on Starter and 1,500 plus three custom avatars on Pro. We have not run either tool hands-on; judge on your own script with a trial or free plan before committing.

Can either one put my product in the ad?+

Both claim a route. Arcads' homepage lists an avatar-holding-your-product feature. Creatify's URL-to-video pulls product details and imagery from your page. In both cases a person still has to check that the product reads correctly at scale and that nothing about it is misstated.

Can I use both Arcads and Creatify?+

Yes, and some teams do: Creatify's free or Starter plan for wide, cheap experiments and Arcads for the polished avatar read on the concepts that survive. The cost is two subscriptions and two workflows to run.

When should I skip both and use an agency?+

When your team's hours belong in the ad account rather than in scripting, judging takes, editing and compliance. An AI UGC agency like Pinprick takes a brief and returns finished ads inside a week at $0 per ad, a percentage of ad spend, for eligible brands. If you have spare creative hours and want control of every take, a tool is the better buy.
